When you receive your new discourse, you’ll find that it contains only 6 of the 12 chapters that  are promised in the series.  The second 6 chapters will be sent just before mid-year 2010.  We are handling it this way due to the quantity of material that is coming out now, and because 30-40% of chelas are struggling with impatience and will read ahead, though advice to the contrary is always given as regards the annual discourse.  It is a simple matter to get off balance during a new spiritual growth cycle, such as the one we are currently experiencing.  This is hard on the individual, the Living Master of the Time, and the group consciousness. 

The group consciousness, and the individuals it is composed of, have many spiritual opportunities now and all must be nurtured carefully.  Everything is done gradually, in accord with the will of Sugmad.  Now certainly when a chela is ready for another step, it comes at once, but the spiritual foundation for that growth must be laid solidly and precisely by the Inner Master with the full cooperation of the chela.

If you have subscribed to the 2009 discourse in recent months, it is not necessary to purchase the 2010 discourse right away.  It would be better to finish all of the monthly chapters in the 2009 discourse before moving on to the new one.  Your spiritual progress will not be delayed in any way.  Take your time with the material at hand, being careful to understand and contemplate upon the wisdom contained therein.  All of the benefits that come with the discourse, including the inner and outer protection, the love and guidance of the Living Master, are in place for the 12 month period of which the annual study cycle is composed, no matter what time of year you may have begun your study.
